After you craft such a cube you will be able to crash it and get some item. This item will not necessarily be stable, sometimes you may drop a mob which will be able to move. All drops can be divided into two categories: good helpful items and vice versa. All items that may help us will be referred to first category and the rest of items that may make a damage to our heals or even life in Minecraft world will be referred to second one. You can use some additional items, like metal or other ingredients, when crafting this block and get improved block where the good items drop becomes more effective. For example, the chance of gold dropping is more when you add gold to the ingredients when crafting the lucky block. And everything depends on your luck. Create lucky blocks, crash them and get new items. Don’t be afraid of evil mobs which may drop from these blocks. You want to find out how lucky you are, right?
