The CARDIOEQUIVALENCIAS calculator is an application developed by Ferrer Internacional, S.A., whose objective is to help health professionals to know the approximate equivalent doses of some ACEIs, ARAS and statins available on the market vs. other salts of the therapeutic group, favoring therapeutic exchange of active ingredients for the management of cardiovascular health.

This application allows to know a practical approach for the change of a therapy based on multiple tablets vs the use of a polypill for cardiovascular prevention in patients with hypertension.

It offers a treatment suggestion based on the recommendations of the study "A practical approach to switch from a multiple pill therapeutic strategy to a polypill-based strategy for cardiovascular prevention in patients with hypertension". Anthony Coca. Journal of Hypertension 2020 where it is concluded that the polypill favors adherence to treatment in patients with cardiovascular risk.

Therapeutic equivalent is understood as products that have the same active ingredient as the drug or the same therapeutic fraction and, when administered, clinically have the same efficacy and safety as the drug whose efficacy and safety have been determined. NOM-EM-003-SSA1-1998-DOF.
