The Three Kingdoms era is a historical period in China.
At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Cao Cao unified northern China and actually took control of the Eastern Han Dynasty with the position of prime minister. He won the title of "King of Wei" and added Jiuxi.
In 220 AD, Cao Cao died of illness, and his son Cao Pi succeeded to the throne. In the same year, he forced the last emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Xiandi Liu Xie, to take the Zen throne. So far, the Eastern Han Dynasty regime fell and the Three Kingdoms era officially began.
In 221 AD, Liu Bei took Yizhou as his base and established himself as the emperor. In the same year, Sun Quan, who ruled Yangzhou, Jingzhou, Jiaozhou and other places separately, accepted the canonization of the Cao Wei regime and was called "King of Wu".
In 229 A.D., Sun Quan proclaimed himself emperor and founded the country, the country was named "Wu", and it was called "Soochow" in history. In 263 AD, the Sima family, which controlled the Cao Wei regime, annexed the Shu Han, and abolished the emperor in 265 AD to establish itself. The country was named "Jin", and the history was called "Western Jin".
In 280 AD, the Western Jin Dynasty conquered the Sun Wu regime in the south of the Yangtze River and unified China, thus ending the Three Kingdoms era.
