In this post, I am going to show you how to install KOMET MicroKom BluFlex 2 on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

KOMET has developed a second, completely redesigned version of the MicroKom BluFlex precision drilling system, which is impressive thanks to its high levels of precision and simple handling, as well as a particularly high-contrast OLED display. Using an app, the display located in the head of the MicroKom BluFlex 2 can also be transmitted to any conventional smartphone.

With this app, the user can use their smartphone keyboard to input the actual drilled value which has been measured – they can then set the tool to the desired manufacturing dimension without any calculations.
In addition, the display can be switched from the diameter to the radius and the slide position can be output as an absolute or differential value.
What's more, the users can choose whether to display units in inches or millimetres. The current position and the remaining travel are shown on a clear, easy-to-read scale.
Other features of this app include the precision adjustment head battery capacity display, a connection to the MicroKom BluFlex 2 guide and the option to change the language from inside the app.

To connect a smartphone to the MicroKom BluFlex 2, the Bluetooth function must be activated in the precision adjustment head menu. The app requires Android 4.4 or a later version, as well as "Bluetooth Smart" or "Bluetooth Low Energy".
