In this post, I am going to show you how to install Public Print on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Public Print using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Public Print" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

Public Print is a convenient app that can print the documents in the mobile phone via the Public Print service.

Following files can be printed on the Public Print service
- Text file
- Web page contents
- The documents that are handed from other apps such as PDF, XDW, Microsoft Office files and so on.
- JPEG and PNG files

How to use

1) Upload files or Web page preview data to the Public Print service by using this app. After you complete to upload, you receive a print reference number.
2) When you print what you uploaded, you go to a place where the Public Print ready device is available. On the front panel select [Public Print] button, then you enter the print reference number. You can refer to your print reference numbers in this app on your mobile phone. Press OK button.
3) The device downloads files from the Public Print service.
4) The device displays preview image before you print. If you're okay, insert coins for printing files.

Conditions
- Public Print requires user registration.
- The communication fee shall be borne by users.
- Android 7.0～14 are supported.
- The app can print the following kinds of files.
- Text
- WebPage
- PDF (1.3-1.7), XDW (3.0 or later) and Microsoft Office for Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) files passed from other apps.
- JPEG and PNG.

*Microsoft Office for Mac is not supported.
- The service is provided on a 24/7/365 basis, but it is temporarily unavailable once a month for maintenance.
- Pay for print jobs at the time of printing. Each store's printing fee is applied.
