In this post, I am going to show you how to install Athan & Doaa on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Athan & Doaa using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. It is the ideal application for prayer times, it differs from a lot of similar apps in that it does not include any advertisements, & excels in having innovative & unique features, some of which are mentioned below.

• This application is distinguished by showing the prayer times in an attractive and GUI, that looks like a clock face that tells the current time, the time remaining until the next call to prayer, immediately after prayer call (Athan) it shows the time remaining to Iqamah, then the remaining time till the end of this current Salah time.
• It calculates how much has passed since the time of the previous call to prayer, and how much time is remaining till the next call to prayer.
• As for hearing the Athan itself, it gives the user the option to choose different audio files to different Salah times, and the ability to mute any Athan call.
• It provides the ability to determine the direction of the Qiblah, as well as the option to determine the call to prayer according to the legal Scholarly Authorities approved in various parts of the Islamic world.
• It shows Current Date in both the Hijri and Gregorian calendars, and it gives a great tool for converting between the Hijri and Gregorian calendars.
• In the month of Ramadan, The time for Fasting & the time to break the Fast are calculated, indicating the times of imsak and iftar times for all cities of the world.
• It is distinguished by linking the hours of the day and night, not only to prayer times, but even to supplications and Doaa’ that are appropriate for those times.
• It provides a smart electronic rosary that allows the enumeration of supplications according to the sayings of the Prophet, peace be upon him, indicating the evidence from the authentic Sunnah for each of these supplications, and provides supplications in both Arabic and English, in both written and audio formats.
