In this post, I am going to show you how to install MobiTime on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install MobiTime using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "MobiTime" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

With MobiTime you can search and buy your journey by public transport in 14 counties - 83% of Sweden.

MobiTime contains; Mobile ticket, Travel planner with real-time view, Stop times with real-time view, Real-time map showing the bus's position, Downloadable timetables, Booking of call-controlled traffic, Company account - travel in service against invoice, Information on current traffic departures and Travel in another county.

In the app you can search and buy mobile ticket for short and long trips. Secure payment is made by bank card, monthly invoice or company account.

The trip planner helps you find the best travel option between A and B and informs about any deviations and remarks.

Bus schedules show information about departing buses from the selected bus stop with real-time departures.

Real-time map shows bus position on map. The service answers the classic question "Where is the bus?" and acts as a guide before and during the trip.

Timetables in MobiTime look just like paper schedules did. MobiTime will remind you when the validity of a timetable is about to expire and update automatically.

Booking of call-controlled traffic is easily done via the trip planner. You can complete your reservations in peace and quiet without having to call the ordering center.

The "Travel in another county" feature makes it possible to travel in 14 counties with the same app. Local information is available for; Dalatrafik, Hallandstrafiken, Jönköpings Länstrafik, Kalmar Länstrafik, Länstrafiken in Jämtland County, Tabussen.nu (Västerbotten), Ultra (Umeå), Länstrafiken Kronoberg, Länstrafiken Norrbotten, Sörmlandstrafiken, Vänstrafiken Örebro, Vänstrafiken Örebro, Vänstrafiken Örebro and X traffic
