In this post, I am going to show you how to install RC Setup on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install RC Setup using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "RC Setup" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

How to install RC Setup on Windows PC using NoxPlayer

  1. Download & Install NoxPlayer at: https://www.bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file to the NoxPlayer interface and drop it to install
  3. The installation process will take place quickly. After successful installation, you can find "RC Setup" on the home screen of NoxPlayer, just click to open it.

RC Setup app allows you to save all your rc cars settings in an easy and simple way, watch how parameters and rc car behavior on track change, note correct and incorrect solutions, share your settings and look through others. RC Setup app will teach you to define how good do different changes work in different conditions and help you to structure all your rc car data.

Short instruction:
- add one or few chassis;
- add new setup to chassis by filling all or only needed parameters (tip: in an empty field you can copy value from left or right field by double tap);
- add a comment and a mark to setup after testing your car on a track. With every setup saving it's also offered to add a comment;
- if you press menu button on the setup page and then press "Changes history" button you will see all setup changes and differences between them. You can correct changes, delete them (long press in the list) and add comments to them;
- you can add more than one setup to every chassis, for example, setup "Asphalt" and setup "Carpet". When adding second and following setups they would be filled with data from the previous one;
- on the "Settings" page you can turn on displaying difference between setups and last comments to them in the list on the setups page, specify the way of adding image for a setup, select image for navigation panel;
- if you press menu button on the "My chassis" page you can save all your data to a file, load it from a file and share it;
- if you long press chassis item in the list on the "My chassis" page you can change chassis name or delete it;
- if you long press setup item in the list on the setups page you can see its changes history, change its name or delete it;
- if you long press comment item on the setup page you can delete it;
- if you press menu button on the setup page you can add an image of the chassis by selecting it from gallery or specifying its url;
- on the "Notes" page you can add notes with useful information about rc car settings and behavior.
