MyJournal is a research app that can be used by participants to keep a diary. Participants can add different kind of ‘events’. This can be done via (long or short) text messages, photos, videos or audio fragments. But also by answering short closed questions, like a ‘yes-no’ question, single or multiple choice, date/time or location question.

The app is connected to a closed web environment, where project can be made, participants and clients can be invited and results can be tracked and downloaded. The kind of events that participants can upload is a choice of the researcher. Researchers create new projects and choose what and when participants can add new events.

To take part in a research, you sign in with your email address and password in the 'Settings'. You can receive a password through a research or recruitment agency for example.

MyJournal also works (after the project is downloaded) without an Internet connection. This means that participants can always take part in a research, whenever and wherever they are.
