This app is an app that introduces the Miyakubo archaeological site, which is one of the many archaeological sites scattered in the Mekujiri River basin that flows through Ayase City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The Miyakubo site was a place where people continued to live, receiving the blessings of the Mekujiri River throughout its long history, including the Old Stone Age, the Jomon Period, the Yayoi Period, the Nara Period, and the Kamakura Period. It is an interesting archaeological site where people's lives changed in each era and it remained well. Currently, it is Ayase Nishi High School.
When visiting the site, the configuration of this application allows you to observe the state of the villages in the Nara and Kamakura periods that were CG restored based on the results of the excavation survey using the AR function. In the Nara period, it was an important base in the surrounding area, and in the Kamakura period, the village of the samurai residence is reproduced. Even at home, you can see models of the ruins, observe 3D digitized objects such as excavated earthenware, and read detailed explanations so that you can know the Miyakubo ruins.
This app needs to read the AR marker (QR code) posted on the local signboard with the app running in order to view the CG restored image using the AR function. Depending on the smartphone or tablet model, OS, plug-in version, etc., it is possible that the app cannot be installed, or even if it is installed, the AR marker cannot be read. Before going to the site, it is better to download the application in advance and visit the site with the installation completed on the smartphone terminal.
We hope that you can also use AR Kanzaki Ruins and AR Hayakawa Castle as an app that introduces the ruins of the Mekujiri River basin in the same way as the Miyakubo Ruins.
