In this post, I am going to show you how to install myRTCpara on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install myRTCpara using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "myRTCpara" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

How to install myRTCpara on Windows PC using NoxPlayer

  1. Download & Install NoxPlayer at: https://www.bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file to the NoxPlayer interface and drop it to install
  3. The installation process will take place quickly. After successful installation, you can find "myRTCpara" on the home screen of NoxPlayer, just click to open it.

This app will allow eligible RTC ADA Paratransit customers the ability to schedule, confirm, cancel, and view real-time estimated time of arrival for scheduled trips.

Enrollment

First-time users will need to enroll in the system to begin using the app. To enroll you will need to provide your RTC Paratransit ID #, date of birth, and email address (only one client can have the same email address on file). Once you submit, you will need to activate by clicking the link in the email from myRTCpara@rtcsnv.com sent to the email address provided.

Login

In order to log in, you will enter your client ID and password (created at the time of enrollment). If you happen to forget your password, please click on the “forgot your password” link under enrollment, and it will send you an email to recover your password.

Menu top left (three lines)

To book a new trip, you will need to enter a pick-up address, including unit (apt) # and telephone number of location; your destination address, including unit (apt) # and telephone number of location; and the date of the trip and the time you would like to be picked up or dropped off. Additional information will be requested, including if you need to bring mobility aids and if you would like to add any additional passengers on the trip. On the final screen, please verify the details of your trip request and confirm booking. You have now successfully booked your trip. Please follow the same procedures for any additional trips.

Trips- This will show all of your scheduled trips, and you may click on the trip to display the details, including a map with the location of your pickup and destination. You will be able to click “repeat trip” if you would like to schedule the same trip for another date or cancel trip.

Trip History- This will display any past trips you took with RTC Paratransit service. Simply enter the date parameters by selecting the “to and from” dates you wish to search and click “fetch trips.”

Subscriptions- This will display any recurring trips that have been placed without having to schedule each time. For information on subscriptions, please contact RTC Customer Care at 702-228-4800.

My Profile- This will display your client-specific information and allow you to change your password, if needed.

Announcements- This will display a tutorial video on how to use myRTCpara and any other important notifications, as needed.

Help- This will display definitions of terms used for this application.

General Info- This will take you to the RTC ADA Paratransit webpage for information about the service.

Feedback- This will take you to the RTC online comment form to submit comments about the service or app.
