In this post, I am going to show you how to install Wasia on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Wasia using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Wasia" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

This project is part of the creation of a mobile platform for Muslims around the world to create and keep their wills up to date. It is a secure, free mobile application accessible to all and available on mobile download platforms.

The functionalities are as follows:
- Tutorial: These are the home screens displayed when you use the application for the first time. These screens give some advantages on the drafting of the will.
- Account creation: It allows a new user to create a new user account with his telephone number and password and to link the information in his will to his account. So the user will be able to access this data from anywhere he wants.
- Authentication: It allows the user to connect to his user account using his phone number and password. Once logged into their account, the user has access to three main tabs:
- Testament: Through this tab the user can view his will and edit it by adding / modifying or deleting information on the sections: Loans / Credit, Debts, Carriers of the coffin, Waqf, Alms, Mortuary toilet, Iman (s ) funeral prayer, place of burial, information on witnesses and their signatures.
- QR: Through this tab the user can, on the one hand, generate the QR code of his will and share it with other people, on the other hand a "SCAN A QR" button is available to allow him to scan the QR of a will to view it directly in the application.
- Parameter: Through this tab, the user can:
- Update their account name and password,
- Activate or deactivate the notification,
- Change the language in which information is displayed,
- Add reminders for updating your will
- Reset the information of a will
- Log out of the application
