In this post, I am going to show you how to install Connected Classroom - Student on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Connected Classroom - Student using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Connected Classroom - Student" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

The best technology of how to teach in a classroom is the teacher's own experience. Our objective is to make the productive environment that teacher's valuable experience can be conveniently passed on to students.

The Connected Classroom is the content-centered (curriculum) environment that freely exchange opinions and experiences.

The Connected Classroom consists of Teacher App and Student App. In order to work with teacher and student apps, the tablets must be under the same WiFi network connectivity.

1. Create a class

Teacher creates a class with a class name, teacher's name and a password

2. Start a class

Login to a class

3. Distribute class materials (PDF files)

When students join the class, teacher can distribute the PDF class materials

4. Start a lesson

When the PDF document is shared, then the teacher can start a lesson by opening the PDF file. This will let student's file be opened automatically.

5. Sync On/Off

When the sync mode is on, the teacher can control the page on students' tablets. Students cannot turn page or zoom in or zoom out.

6. Annotations

Teacher and students can highlight/underline important sections and write memos on PDF class materials.

7. Sharing writings and memos

Teacher can share his or her annotations to students and students can send their annotations to teacher

8. PDF Clicker

The teacher can ask questions or ask for a survey. Students can respond with a PDF clicker. The teacher will have the clicker result in no time.

With a separate editing tool, interactive documents (embedded audio, video, and test/quiz) can be easily created and share with the Connected Classroom.
