IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT THE CURRENT VERSION:
- If you have problems starting, please activate the required authorizations manually in the Android app settings.
- Due to the current requirements for an update, it is unfortunately not possible for me to solve the current problems at short notice without a complete revision of the aging app. However, I see good chances of being able to offer a new version for the 2021 season.


GliderPal is aimed at paraglider and hang-glider pilots. It allows access to information from the DHV airfield database and shows the airspaces of Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland.
Please note that airspaces in some countries may be out of date (see data at skyfool.de)

Functions
• Access to the DHV airfield database

• Search criteria: radius in km from the place, paraglider / hang glider, take-off direction area, min. Altitude difference, start type, access (car, on foot, public transport)
• Site search according to criteria in the area
o the current location
o of a searched location (location or name of the terrain)
o a place set on the map
• Terrain list sorted by distance from the place including kilometers
• Calling the telephone numbers of the field contacts
• Calling up site websites
• Calling up the DHV site page
• Compose emails to field contacts
• Navigating to take-off and landing sites via ext. App
• Display of all information from the terrain database
• Airspaces marked in color on the map according to class
• Airspace info name, class, lower and upper limit
• The lower and upper limits of the airspace are also shown converted into meters.
• Airspace classes can be hidden and shown individually

I tested the app according to my possibilities. If the app should malfunction anyway, please send me a bug report before a bad rating and give me the opportunity to fix it. This also benefits other users and leads to higher motivation for the author. Please keep in mind that the app is provided free of charge and free of advertising,

By using the app, the user agrees to the DHV's terms of use for the
Terrain database too. This is available in the app via a link as a PDF.
The data for the air spaces were provided by DFC Saar e.V. Commercial use of the data is excluded by the data provider.
I do not assume any liability for the correctness of the data in the DHV site database and the air spaces. Use of the data and the app at your own risk.

Data protection: No direct personal data will be passed on to me or third parties. The app uses Google Maps. To what extent data is sent to Google here, please refer to their data protection regulations. Bugsense is used for quality assurance. In the event of crashes and download problems, I receive information about the error as well as hardware and software information. No personal data is collected here either.
