The last urban story begins on a summer night in 2077, when a meteorite crosses the night sky and falls in the center of City G, releasing a mysterious gas that spreads rapidly. The creatures infected by this gas became extremely ferocious, and the number of monsters exploded violently. The survivors had no choice but to retreat to the west, where they built "cities" to resist the attacks of monsters, and at the same time rested and sought new ways of survival.
