Ang Choir Ng Bayan (CNB) ay isang gawa-ng-mga-Pinoy na “app” para paramihin, ituro at palaganapin ang mga choral pieces na gawang Pinoy. Bakit app? Bakit hindi na lang yung karaniwang ginagamit ng choir na music sheets? Dahil (1) ang karamihang Pilipino ay hindi marunong magbasa ng nota, at (2) ang karaniwang mga Pilipino ay wala gaanong panahon na mag-choir-practice. Paano ito ginagawa ng CNB?

Ituturo ng CNB app ang vocal part ng choir member. Kung halimbawa Alto, kakantahin ng app ang Alto part. Pakikinggan na lang ito ng choir member nang paulit-ulit hanggang makabisado. Tapos, papraktisin niya sa Minus-One. At pag okay na sa Minus-One, sasabayan niya na ngayon ang Minus-Alto. Kaya pwedeng-pwede maging choir member ang mga hindi marunong magbasa ng nota.

At nagagawa nila ito habang nagluluto, nagda-drive, nag-e-exercise, naglalaba o nagbabantay ng paninda. Kaya pwede pa ring sumali sa choir ang mga walang gaanong oras na mag-choir-rehearsal.

HARNESSING THE PERSONAL AND SOCIAL BENEFITS OF CHORAL SINGING. Sa ibang mga abanteng bansa, ang gobyerno na mismo ang naglalaan ng pondo para sa mga community choirs.
