Step By Step Guide To Install Forest Fire Incident Reporting using BlueStacks

Click for mapping/Offline records: The user is given two modes of information submission. By clicking ‘Click for mapping’ user can feed real time fire incident from the field using internet connection. In absence of internet connectivity in the field, the user has option save the fire incident data in offline mode, which can be later uploaded when internet connectivity is available.

Study area details: User needs to enter the details of the State/District/Block/Village/Pin code of the site of data collection. Coordinate information about the location is collected by ‘Get location’ tab.

Forest fire burned area information: The attributes of the burned area sites are collected as, whether the site is a newly burned or previously the site was burned in which forest category, approximate area, duration and any other user remarks.

Field photograph: The user of the app is given the facility to take field photo of the burned site.
