The History of Classical Music
Classical music is art music produced or rooted in the traditions of Western music, including both liturgical (religious) and secular music. While a more accurate term is also used to refer to the period from 1750 to 1820 (the Classical period)
This application is an attempt to put the composers and compositions into a historical context, for, like its companion art forms, music reflects the era and events in which it was written. Music can speak to us with even greater power and resonance if we hear it as part of a continually evolving, never-ending story.

On this version we are including Part 1 From Greogorian Chant to C.P.E. Bach
On November 30, 2016 Version 1.1 Part 2 From Haydn to Paganini
On December 15, 2016 Version 1.2 Part 3 From Berlioz to Tchaikovsky
On December 30, 2016 Version 1.3 Part 4 From Tchaikovsky to Rachmaninov
On January 10, 2016 Version 1.4 From Sibelius To Górecki
