All hotels in this directory have been chosen on account of their good qualities and their good user reviews. This is not just another directory of expensive luxury hotels; the iHi directory includes a range of small independent hotels in all price brackets except the ultra-expensive, and properties in the directory vary from some delightful unclassed "hostals" in Spain, where rooms can be had in 2017 for less than 40€ a night, up to some good-value five-star boutique hotels in out-of-the way spots in France.
The majority of hotels in the directory come into the 2-star to 3-star brackets.
Directory listings include essential information appropriate for the location. For instance, hotels on the outskirts of Paris, chosen on account of their accessibility to public transport, include car parking information and distance to a metro or RER station.
