How might that be useful?

Example: Your employer records your time on the job on your computer. However, when you arrive at your workplace, you need to pass a security check, wait for the elevator and when you finally arrive at your desk you still need to boot your computer. That's easily 10 minutes. And when you leave, that's another 10 minutes. Thus each day 20 minutes not recorded. In a year with 220 working days, 8 hours each, that makes more than 9 days of unrecorded overtime!

With this app, you can track your actual time on the job precisely. Your boss likes to call you after hours? Not anymore without you recording overtime for the call!

You don't need to have the app open for it to record. In fact, even if your battery dies, the recording doesn't stop. It's magic!

The app allows you to export precise records that may be opened with any spreadsheet software like Excel.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
