Step By Step Guide To Install Brainboxes Remote IO Console using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

Brainboxes Remote IO Console is a simple console application which is designed for use with Brainboxes Remote IO (or Ethernet IO) Modules. These are product codes which begin with "ED-", for example ED-538, ED-204 and are available at: http://www.brainboxes.com/remote-io

Brainboxes Remote IO Console has the following functions:
- Connect to a Remote IO Device
- Send command to a Remote IO Device
- Receive response from a Remote IO Device
- Disconnect from a Remote IO Device

The functions of the app allow you to communicate with your device using ASCII commands from your Android phone or tablet.
