This app speak a word and meaning through TTS

Your device must have a TTS (Text-to-Speech) engine for Talk to work. If it does not have it you can download it from Google Play. Depending on the TTS engine, some languages that appear in the app may not work.

Once the application is installed on your device, you can make Google TTS your default Text-to-speech engine by going to Settings> Language & Input> Text-to-speech output and checking Google TTS as your default engine.

Note, on many Android devices, Google Text-to-speech is already turned on, but you can update to the latest version here.

※ Use of permissions

Phone status: If you receive a call while playing a word, the app uses the Call (Phone Status) permission to stop playback.

Network connection: We use network connection permission to connect translation services and receive advertisements.

The app requires the permissions shown above to work properly, and each permission is not used for any purpose other than those listed.

Improvement and stabilization

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
