The game Cubanómetro is developed independently by Group N! VAL. It is a very simple application, essentially a game of questions and answers related to Cuban culture. It contains 1000 questions and should reach a total of 5000 points to complete it as a good Cuban.

It is inspired by the popular "self-assessment surveys cubanía" or "test cubanidad" email circulating among Cubans from all over the world, descendants of Cubans and interested in Cuban culture. These surveys containing more than 300 questions compiled over the years thanks to the support and collaboration of many people. Listed as the version number 13.6, questions to include in this application were selected. Important references in the development of the game were the work on language doctors Fernando Ortiz, Catauro of Cubanismos-which described Ortiz as a "pile of cubicherías" - and Juan Marinello, a Guacalito cubanismos.

From a job creation, selection and editing by our editor Claudia Borrajo del Toro, BA in History at the Faculty of Philosophy and History at the University of Havana, with the support of some collaborators and suggestions of players, they were created many new questions covering various elements of Cuban culture and Cuban lore to this day.
