Step By Step Guide To Install Custom Low Battery Alert using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. My phone started dying on me when the battery was around 20%. This means that, in most cases, I didn't even get to see the low battery warning.

When my phone was able to show it, I knew that the battery was only going to last a couple minutes. So, the original warning was completely useless.

I tried re-calibrating the battery, clearing the cache, and installing a new ROM. None of this worked.

That's when I decided to develop this workaround.
