This new form of remote access to pharmacists has many advantages:

 Reduce the queue in pharmacies;
 Allow patients to order their medications in advance;
 Know the price of drugs before going to a pharmacy;
 Avoiding patients having to go around several pharmacies to find their medication;
 Facilitate the care of patients with chronic diseases.
It is important to emphasize that Telepharmacy does not replace an in-person consultation with a doctor. Rather, it is a complementary solution. Telepharmacy is practiced by professional pharmacists registered with the order of pharmacists in their country and who have the right to practice the profession of pharmacist in their country. The profession of pharmacist is governed by strict regulations to guarantee patient safety.
