In this post, I am going to show you how to install McStats GPS Golf on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install McStats GPS Golf using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "McStats GPS Golf" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

McStats GPS Golf uses the GPS capability of your phone/device to track each shot of your golf round. Detailed shot/club statistics are saved and used to automatically select the appropriate club for each shot. Wind speed/direction and elevation deltas help determine how far each shot is playing. The app has a Manual Mode feature allowing the ball to be manually positioned at any time. Easily switch between GPS and Manual Mode. Courses may be downloaded or you may easily map your own course directly on device. Other features include:

- Estimated shot location/distance based on club selection.
- Easily adjust Tee/Pin positions at start of each hole.
- Shows wind speed and relative wind direction.
- Automatic zoom based on shot position.
- Displays previous shot club used, distance and on-target indicator.
- Straight line distance from tee and to green indicators updated continuously.
- Detailed round summary including scorecard, shot distances, fairways hit, greens in regulation, up and downs, sand saves, chipping/putting statistics, hole by hole shot list.
- Bag Summary statistics including handicap, percent greens in regulation, percent fairways hit, average club distance/percent on-target and more.
- Share round summary with friends via email.
- Email course files, round files for import on another device.


Practice using the app by creating a round and switching GPS off. You can then manually position the ball for each shot.
