This app outlines and describes the process flow to make a resilient health system in urban by establishing master coaches within system. Based on the experience of PSI India’s work in the cities, this is a step-by-step guide for the ‘Health Program Implementers’ to use key High Impact Interventions/ practices.
It mirrors a user-manual approach and guides ‘Health Program Implementers’ on TCI program’s ‘Lead, Assist and observe’ coaching model of activating government’s existing urban service delivery platform. This guide provides step-by-step guidance on what and how to scale up proven FP solutions by building master coaches within the system so that they can implement high impact practices and take FP services closer to the door step of urban poor population, keeping sustainability of approaches in mind.
The objective of this app is faster, quicker, and cost-efficient scale up of high impact interventions or practices for strengthening urban family planning systems in new or interested geographies.
The app describes about three components that creates the model of change i.e. Playbook, play team and playground.
• The component of playbook segregated on stages. The stages have the key milestones and milestones defines the step wise process to achieve the milestone. Each steps of process displays the evidences guiding the audience to take up the process in next level.
• Component of Play-team displays regarding the team ready to coach and mentor to cities for strengthening urban FP platforms in the city in a quick and faster way.
• The playground component displays the cities / sites as centre of excellence and ready to share the story of change at demand, supply and enabling environment level.
• The app has a separate component for the detail illustration of HIIs. This has phase wise key steps as per TCI coaching and mentoring approach of lead, assist and observe.
