The state palaces, gardens and art collections of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania (in short: SSGK M-V) represent some of the most beautiful and important testimonies to the history of architecture and garden design in northern Germany, as well as the ducal art collections and art treasures of international standing from antiquity to the present day. Some of the most impressive residences, such as the famous Schwerin Castle, a prime example of romantic historicism, and the classic Hohenzieritz Castle, are managed by the SSGK M-V. With their modern museum castles, idyllic parks and exciting events, the ensembles offer a wide range of activities for the whole family. In addition to the state-owned palaces and gardens, the traditional Schwerin State Museum also belongs to the SSGK M-V.

With this versatile audio/media guide app, your visit will be even more informative and entertaining: You will learn a lot of interesting facts about our palaces and gardens in M-V and the Schwerin State Museum. There are also some special exhibitions.
