In this post, I am going to show you how to install Yam! with friends on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Step By Step Guide To Play Yam! with friends using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Yam! with friends" icon on the home screen to start playing, it'll work like a charm :D

YAM, also known as Yacht, Yahtzee or General, with small rule variations, it's a game that mixes luck and reasoning.
In this version, one to six participants can play on the same device, or two to six participants in online mode, just for their guests.
The main objective of the game is to achieve the highest score possible.
In each turn the player rolls five dice, and has three chances to roll.
The player is the one who decides whether to roll the dice once, twice or three times.
From the second roll onwards, the player can roll all the dice, or just some of them.
The boxes on the table indicate the possible moves for the numbers drawn, and the respective scores.
Each box can only be chosen once.
The player must choose the best number or combination of numbers to score in the corresponding box. Some types of combinations used in the game are: three or more of the same number, Full House and Yam, which is the highest score in the game.
When it is not possible to score in some type of combination, the player must mark zero in the box.
The game ends after thirteen turns, with all boxes scored. The player with the highest score wins.
