The Fingerband Android app provides ribbon controller support for musical keyboards that do not have a ribbon controller.

Ribbon is called the ribbon that sends the pichbend control code in the midi with a finger movement instead of the traditional joystick.

FingerBand, on the other hand, imitates the physical ribbon accessory and gives the pitchbend function to the screen touch of your mobile device.

In this way, ribbon controller support is added to your synth/arranger keyboards that do not have a ribbon controller.
FigerBand is an application that runs on the Android operating system and uses both ble Midi and USB midi communication protocols.

It can work wirelessly on devices with Bluetooth midi support (DanteZEN, AKX10, Thomann A1100, Medeli A2000). For target keyboards that do not support Bluetooth, the application communicates with the target keyboard using a USB TypeA -> USB TypeB cable called an OTG converter and a printer cable.

After the physical connection of the FingerBand and the target keyboard, to connect them software-wise;

Open the list of devices ready to connect by pressing the (+) button on the right of the screen.

Select the connected device in the list that opens and wait.

Once the connection is established, FingerBand will be ready for use.

Check your device settings.

If your application does not respond to finger movements even though the connection is established,

Go to your keyboard's midiIN (Receive) settings. Channel settings in the channel selection list that will appear in the Midi IN (Receive) section:

CH1 (Channel1) ====> Upper1 (R1/Right1)

CH2 (Channel2) ====> Upper2 (R2/Right2)

CH3 (Channel3) ====> Upper3 (R3/Right3)

When you set it as follows, the FingerBand application will now start to react to your finger movements.
