The MyID Identity Wallet integrates with the Intercede MyID credential management system to provision and manage digital identities in the form of Mobile Identity Documents – verifiable, privacy enhanced credentials stored in a mobile wallet.
These documents are based on technical standards ISO/IEC 18013-5 (Mobile Drivers Licence) but can be used for a broader range of use cases including proof of qualifications, authority, access rights or other scenarios where information about a person needs to be presented for verification.

Verification works by displaying a QR code generated by the wallet, which is then scanned by a compatible verifier app. The verifier will request attributes of the document, and once permission is granted by the document owner read the information requested and verify that the document is valid.

The MyID Identity Wallet is also available as an SDK for integration into other apps.
