WORDAMID INSTRUCTIONS

An English word game where the letters are in the shape of a pyramid.
Find words that include 3-10 letters.
The English words in this game are based on an official dictionary.

For example verbs, adjectives, substantives, nominatives etc. are relevant in their basic form,
but for example imperative and proper nouns are not.

The longer the word is, the more points you will get:

3 letters -> 1 point
4 letters -> 3 points
5 letters -> 8 points + deck 1 card
6 letters -> 15 points + deck 1 card
7 letters -> 25 points + deck 2 cards
8 letters -> 40 points + deck 3 cards
9 letters -> 60 points + deck 5 cards
10 letters -> 100 points + deck 10 cards

If you know a word with 7-10 letters, more special features will appear.

By getting upper levels, you will get more new features.
With a wrong word you will lose points according to the previous table and you will also lose one letter card from the deck.

The letters will be raffled randomly by their appearance frequency:

E=12,02%
T=9,10%
A=8,12%

C=2,71%
M=2,61%
F=2,30%

Bonus letters on more difficult levels:
K=0,69%

When you get the so called "king card" (100 points) from the top of the pyramid you will get to the next level.
There is no time limit in this game but once a half minute you lose one point. So the quicker you are the less points you will lose.

Tips:

- By using letters E, T, A, O, I and N you will get far in the game.
- If there are two similar letter cards next to each other, always rather use the letter in the middle than the letter on the edge.
- Pick a letter card from the deck just when you must.
- By knowing a 10 lettered word you get 100 points and 10 more letter cards to the deck and also a star card feature, a hammer card feature and shuffle the pyramid feature.
- Star card feature (choose a new card).
- Hammer card feature (remove a card in the pyramid), but you can not remove the "king card".
- Shuffle the pyramid feature (shuffle only letters in the pyramid), but remember to keep the important letters in the word field before shuffling.
- In advance plan a letter or a word route higher towards the top of the pyramid.
- The cancel button will empty the word field and put back the letters picked from the pyramid.
- The cancel button doesn't remove the letter showing from the deck but removes selected letters that are already in the word field.
- Use the word field as a one letter storage while scrolling the letters cards. It helps a lot in forming the words.
- When there are only consonants left in the pyramid, place a consonant on the word field and find a vowel from the deck.
- When there are only vowels left in the pyramid, place a vowel on the word field and find a consonant from the deck.
- Use the straws (star, hammer or shuffle) only when you have to.
- You get long words easily by adding to a word the following endings: -TION, -ABLY, -NESS.. etc.

The wordlist contains 45594 words and it has been modified to be suitable to this game by removing words that include under 3 and over 10 letters.
