Nakka: A Nepali Traditional Game

Nakka is a beloved traditional game from Nepal that has been enjoyed for generations. This engaging game is designed for 2-4 players and offers a game of luck.

Objective:
The objective of Nakka is simple: be the first player to move your token from your starting corner to the center of the board. However, achieving this goal.

Setting Up:
In the traditional physical version, you'd need a flat surface like a stone or a chalk-drawn board, divided into four equal parts vertically and horizontally, with two diagonal lines forming smaller squares within the larger square. Each player would choose a corner and place their token on it. However, in this mobile game, you don't have to worry about physical setup.

Choiyas:
In the traditional game, choiyas are crucial. Crafted from Nigalo, these unique pieces resemble a geometry scale and have two faces: Front and Back. Players use choiyas to determine the random value needed to move their tokens during gameplay. But in this mobile version, the choiyas are simulated for you, so no need to have physical pieces.

Gameplay:

1. Players take turns throwing the choiyas. The value of the throw is determined by the number of choiyas showing the same face.
- All Front faces: 4
- All Back faces: 4
- One Front face: 1
- Two Front faces: 2
- Three Front faces: 3
2. To start the game, players must roll either a 1 or a 4. Rolling a 1 or a 4 also grants the player an additional turn.
3. After determining the throw value, the player moves their token counterclockwise around the board. The number of steps taken is equal to the throw value.
4. Once the token completes one full revolution around the board, it enters the inner square.
5. If a player's token reaches the inner home square exactly based on the throw value, they may enter the center of the board. Otherwise, they must continue revolving around the board until they reach the inner home square with the exact throw value.
6. If a player's token lands on a point occupied by another token, the displaced token returns to its home corner, and the player who displaced it receives one additional turn as a reward.
7. The first player to move their token into the center of the board wins. Second and third places are determined by the order in which players enter the center.

Game Rules:

- Tokens move counterclockwise around the board.
- Tokens must enter the center from the inner home square with the exact throw value.
- Rolling a 1 or a 4 grants an additional turn.
- The game ends when a player successfully moves their token into the center of the board.

Experience the excitement of Nakka as you compete with friends and family in this classic Nepali traditional game. With its blend of luck, Nakka promises hours of fun and entertainment for players of all ages.
