REVE Secure Two-Factor Authenticator
REVE Secure strengthens the security of your login via two-factor authentication (2FA) by means of a unique verification code or OTP (One-Time Passcode), for every login attempt. This app protects all your precious online accounts and sensitive data from the hackers or intruders by adding a second step of verification in the login procedure, called 2FA.
Attackers won’t be able to gain access to a two-factor authentication enabled account even if they know your login credentials, such as username and password.
What is 2-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication is the second level of authentication added to the login process of your account. It comes into play after the verification of username-password associated with the online account.
Features of REVE Secure 2FA App
REVE Secure 2FA app comes with several advanced features to secure your online accounts from attacks or intrusions.
-Supports all standard TOTP-enabled accounts
REVE Secure can be used with all types of standard TOTP-supported online accounts to protect users from unauthorized access. e.g. Gmail, Facebook, Dropbox, etc.
-Account Sync Across Multiple Devices/Platforms
You can access the TOTPs for your accounts on different devices, even across different platforms (Android, iOS), through our Account Sync service.
-App Security
All accounts and associated data is 256-bit AES encrypted before storage. You can set a PIN or fingerprint lock on your app (on supported devices). The encryption keys are stored on your devices with hardware backed encryption (on supported devices).
-Accounts Backup and Restore
Your accounts and all associated data is encrypted before the back-up to REVE Secure. You can restore or migrate your account to a different device without any hassle, e.g. in case the device is stolen or broken.
-Works in Offline Mode
With Reve Secure, you can receive authentication codes without being connected to the internet or mobile network of any kind. Through this app, you don’t need to wait for an SMS to arrive, or a strong network connection to receive codes online.
-Out of Band Authentication
With REVE Secure, you can opt to receive Push Notifications instead of TOTP. The notification also provides the detailed description of the origins of login attempt e.g. Service name, Access Location, Access Time, Access Device OS/Browser, for improved security.
