About calculating hearing loss using the Fowler-Sabine formula
Hearing loss according to Fowler-Sabine is an assessment of hearing loss expressed in %. In the calculation, the obtained is taken into account

results of threshold tone audiometry by air conduction at frequencies most relevant to

speech understanding: 500Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz and 4000Hz. Both ears are always considered.

You need the result when calculating physical impairment and when asserting technical rights

accessories (e.g.: vibrating alarm clocks, telephones for the hearing impaired, FM systems, hearing induction loops,...),

which derive from the Act on the Equalization of Opportunities for the Disabled (ZIMI).

Without a visit to an ENT specialist, the calculation is only informative.
