In this post, I am going to show you how to install Sudoku on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Play Sudoku using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Sudoku" icon on the home screen to start playing, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

How to play Sudoku on Windows PC using NoxPlayer

  1. Download & Install NoxPlayer at: https://www.bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file to the NoxPlayer interface and drop it to install
  3. The installation process will take place quickly. After successful installation, you can find "Sudoku" on the home screen of NoxPlayer, just click to open it.

The Sudoku Game is presented as a 9x9 table, composed of 3x3 subtables called regions, boxes, or blocks. In total there are 81 cells.
The application has a menu located in the upper right part of the screen, to be able to return to the previous screen or exit the application.
On the first screen we have 4 buttons and a central image.
Difficulty: the difficulty will depend on the color icon located on the first screen, the color will indicate the number of cells that will remain with the numbers visible, green being the easiest and red being the most difficult.
Sound: pressing to activate or deactivate the game sound.
Language: each time you press it changes the language in which the help will be displayed, Es, En, Fr, It, De, Ru, Zh, Pt, Hi, Ja.
Help: question button, it is the help for how the application works, when you press it once, the help appears, which will be hidden when you press it again. Hide the help to be able to see the central image, which is the one that starts the game when you press it.
To start playing click on the central image.
Each time you start, a different board will be generated.
The objective is to fill the empty cells, with a number in each of them, so that each column, row and region contains the numbers 1–9 only once.
To select the number to change, click on it, a red box will appear indicating that that cell is selected.
Once the cell is selected, click on the gray box (+), located below the board, to be able to change the numbers. For each click, one will be added to the currently selected number.
Game rules:
1- you must complete the empty boxes with a single number from 1 to 9.
2- There cannot be repeated numbers in the same row.
3- There cannot be repeated numbers in the same column.
4- There cannot be repeated numbers in the same region.
5- The Game ends when all the numbers are completed.
