In this post, I am going to show you how to install Flipboku Solar System AR on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Flipboku Solar System AR using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Flipboku Solar System AR" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

The set includes 3D models of the main celestial bodies in the solar system as well as a complete representation of each planet's orbit around the sun. The limited edition collection also includes a 3D model and extra information on the Chelyabinsk meteorite.

Each model includes extra information, trivia and videos about each body.

The flipbooks features 6 different sequences each, that can be triggered by changing the position of your thumb.


HOW TO USE THE APP:

Open the app and point the camera at the cover of each flipbook slipcase in order to display the models in 3D. By pointing the camera at the main image of the packaging for the entire collection, you’ll be able to discover a full model of the Solar System.

The models can be rotated and scaled using your fingers on the screen.
By clicking the Earth Scale button in the upper right-hand corner, you can make the Earth appear next to each planet and the Sun to compare its scale.

In the main menu, you’ll find extra information, trivia and videos of each body.

IMPORTANT:

We highly recommend not making sudden movements with the phone or the slipcases. If for any reason you can not activate any of the models on their respective slipcases, slowly move your smartphone and make small pauses until you get to visualize the model. This is a first official version and it is possible that due to the amount of different devices that exist in the market, there are still some bugs that we will improve in future updates.
