Ready for smart water control? Here comes the digital solution: With the b:rainTank you too can cleverly store your rainwater.

The consequences of climate change are noticeable for all of us. We are experiencing long droughts, rising temperatures and heavy rain events more and more frequently. In order to deal with the challenges, united forces are needed – from the water industry to the consumer. It is time to recognize water as a precious resource and manage it responsibly!

The b:rainTank consists of a rainwater storage tank, a controller and the app. In automatic mode, the b:rainTank Controller regularly retrieves weather forecast data. The tank is automatically emptied in time before expected rain and can thus store the coming rain. Switch to manual mode to empty the b:rainTank at a time of your choosing.

Do you have technical know-how and craftsmanship skills? Then install the b:rainTank in your own garden. You can find the assembly instructions and material lists on our GitHub page: https://github.com/developerOOWV/brainTank

The b:rainTank app allows you to set up the b:rainTank, control it and access information. In the b:rainTank app you can

- Set up your rainwater storage tank and the associated roof area
- Retrieve the current level of your rain storage tank
- switch between automatic and manual mode
- see the weather forecast
- Get statistics on the level and amount of rain

Through your use, you relieve the strain on the sewer system, especially during heavy rain, and thus prevent flood damage. The more b:rainTanks are set up, the larger the total storage volume. The b:rainTank also enables you to use rainwater instead of drinking water for your garden irrigation.
