In this post, I am going to show you how to install MocApp: app for motion capture on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install MocApp: app for motion capture using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "MocApp: app for motion capture" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

An application that allows you to record the movement of a person using 4 HD/4k 30fps cameras (or better). Suppose you need a solution that will enable you to record animation for a game you are creating or need to make a character animation for an advertisement or any other purpose. In that case, you have come to the right place.

If you have four old phones (just enough that they can record HD/4K 30fps video), you can use our system without any problem. MocApp allows you to record motion from anyone in any location. This means so much that you now have access to high-level motion capture data creation at the cost of a few trips to the bar.
You don't need expensive motion capture outfits or markers. With this system, you can conduct tracking of several people at the same time. Imagine you can now record dialogue scenes of two or three people simultaneously!
Since our system does not require markers, preparing for a recording session is very simple. You only need four tripods, four cheap phones, a short calibration process and voile la! You record the footage, and the app automatically sends it to us, where our magical AI algorithm analyses it. Within minutes, you get an FBX file with the animation ready to use.
