RMCentro - Manfredonia (FG)
On the morning of July 1, 1978 officially opens the Radio, then called Radio Emme (Emme as Manfredonia).
It 'was the second Radio Manfredonia after Radio Puglia, managing to win a big chunk of what had been its audience.
Founders of the issuer, two guys in their early twenties: Antonio Guerra and Vittorio de Filippo (the latter I leave 'in 1985 the Radio for work), that armed with great enthusiasm, and both big fans of music, undertook this adventure .
There were two at first, but soon took on some employees that fatigue, especially for work, then left the Radio.
Among these were the first Robin,; then came Matthew Guerra, Lilly, Melina Rinaldi, and Guido. Following the staff was enriched with many other components.
In the spring of 1979 Radio Emme joined with the local television station Tele Manfredonia, and the partnership was born Tele Radio Manfredonia.
But things are not put in the right and Antonio Guerra decided to drop everything and leave his creature.
Radio continued to live preserving the original frequency, 103 MHz and the same phone number (the 27500).
Was changed, however, in substance and in the image, and was therefore a distinct change in listening.
With the arrival of the 80 the issuer has a breakthrough. Antonio Guerra, within a few months after the sale, took over again finding himself in his hands broadcaster moribund.
First we changed the name, and inspired by the area in which it was the headquarters of Radio called Radio Manfredonia Centro. Was always the same frequency: 103 MHz, the phone instead responded to 24150 and the studies were transferred to Via Orto Sdanga to n. 6.
Antonio is still at his side as his main collaborator friend Vittorio De Filippo.
Other transmissions succeed, new programs take off, other young people enrich the family of Radio, as Jerry and Silvana, Anna Tammaro, and Patrizia Salice.
The Radio is a second home for all!
On 1 June 1985 the Radio takes another step forward. New studies biggest in Via San Francesco 55, new more powerful equipment, groped to conquer the audience outside of the city.
