In this post, I am going to show you how to install Open Vlaanderen on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. Step By Step Guide To Install Open Vlaanderen using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. Open Data, the release of data for re-use by citizens and businesses, is also in the Flemish government is high on the agenda. Increased transparency, greater efficiency and innovation are the three main objectives why the Flemish government wants to play in the story of Open Data a leading role.

The Data Days 2014, a three-day conference in Ghent, was the theme of Open Data. The conference provided a unique opportunity to discover how local authorities use open standards to enable the exchange of information as efficiently and effectively as possible and so to save money while improving service is guaranteed.
Following these three hackatons conference was also organized. One of these hackatons assignment was to do with the data from the VKBO, the enriched Crossroads Bank for businesses, and data Cultuurnet, an "Out in Flanders' network. There were 18 participants in the hackaton ultimately yielded four full applications.
The jury awarded the application "Flanders Open" from the company "Appreciate" as the winner.
