"This app was made based on three concepts to encourage child development.
1. Can be intuitively navigated by touch.
2. Encourages play, learning, ambition through a sense of accomplishment and understanding.
3. Interacting cooperatively with adults is good experience for children and helps to encourage development."

Contents:
In this version, it include three contents which you can enjoy by touching the screen.

"Fireflies"
Touch different places on the screen to make fireflies appear.
Touch a tree or a stream for fireflies, and the night sky for shooting stars.
Fireflies that appeared on the screen will fly away towards the outside of the screen.

"Touch and Jump 2nd"
Chicks
Using the mouse, place the curser over a character and make it jump.
You can make them jump one by one. If you sweep the screen surface horizontally or vertically you can make the characters jump in a wave. Try different kinds of jump and enjoy.
Boys
Using the mouse, place the curser over a character and make it jump.

Goals and tips
The child will notice, through playing with this apps, that his action will cause changes in the external world.
A type of changes occurs on the screen. Another type is in reactions of those who are playing with him.
He will discover not only the changes on the screen but the fun of playing with others.
Operations of this apps are simple. The child can never fail and get a sense of self-efficacy.

Tips to Parents
When the child is using Touch and Connect himself tell them things like "Oh, they are coming out.", "Great! That's many.", or "Try some more." and so on.
Share the child's experiences, resonate with his feelings, and respond to his action with your gestures and words. That stimulates the child's motivation for communicating with you.

"Stretch and Shrink"
Scribble, stretch, and shrink a drawing.
Let's touch the screen and play together by putting two fingers stretch out, or fold in.

Click the "Draw" button and start scribbling. Click the "Morph" button and grab an edge of the drawing and move it around to stretch or shrink the drawing.

You can also shrink drawings and text, and save them to retrieve later.
Using this function you can play a game to guess the stored drawing or text.
First draw a picture and shrink it and touch one of number buttons at the lower right corner of the screen.
The drawing will be saved there. Touch the number button to retrieve the drawing.

Through this apps, the child will learn the fun of coordinating with another player.
This apps promotes the skill to control the child's action taking the other player's actions and timing of his own action into account.
Scribbling pictures and guessing stored drawings help the child express his imagination and creativity.


Tips to Parents
Teach the child the pleasure of playing with others.
Prompt the child when morphing the picture saying "One, two, three", or "Stretch" for example.
This apps can be played by a child who is incapable to draw a picture by himself. In such a case, he can draw his favorite character or the adult can draw what the child asks for.
