The West Kalimantan Christian Church is a church domiciled in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. GKKB believes in the Triune God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only human savior, head of the church, source of truth and life. GKKB accepts the Old Testament and New Testament as the Word of God which has the highest authority of the church and a guide to life for every church member.

With the vision of the Chinese Church centered on the Bible for the people of Pontianak and its surroundings, the existence of the West Kalimantan Christian Church began with the establishment of three main churches in Singkawang, Pontianak and Pemangkat. The opening of the Singkawang Church was initiated by missionaries from the United States in 1906. The Pontianak Church was started by holding household services by several people who came from China. Then on June 6 1935 the Pontianak Church was officially founded with the name Zhōng Huá Jī Dū Jiào Huì (中华基督教会). After being founded, this Church received a lot of assistance from the United States Church until the Japanese colonial era. Church service activities were stopped during the Japanese colonial era and only started again after Indonesia became independent. The opening of Church services was carried out by missionaries from China, then reinforced by missionaries from OMF, so that services were expanded to areas around Pontianak, as well as holding church planting and opening activities, such as in Mandor, Toho, Nanga Pinoh, Segedong, Sungai Pinyuh and Siantan.
