Unique, innovative, designed to facilitate technological transfer at the regional level, INNOCENTA is an effective tool for promoting and trading innovative results with immediate application in industry, based on an innovation index, with real potential to become of international utility.
INNOCENTA is a trading platform for the supply and demand of industrial property, offering everyone easy access to innovative/improved products and services made by ISIM Timișoara and/or by members of the INNOCENTA community (eg: registered users).
The innovation index, which takes into account the degree of novelty and the immediate market applicability of the product/service/innovative technology, which represents the main innovation of the INNOCENTA platform, makes the innovative products available to potential contractors from the economic environment (invention patent applications/ invention patents), ensuring their ranking according to their immediate applicability in industry, creating the prerequisites for technological transfer, with a beneficial effect on the sustainability and competitiveness of the economic environment. Thus, INNOCENTA supports the provision of various services to the business environment and the relationship with it in an organized and easy-to-replicate framework, representing an efficient, easy way to create a sustainable link between suppliers and beneficiaries.
The platform will include more and more providers and beneficiaries, but also visitors - future beneficiaries of CENTA-ISIM services, without being limited to research entities - members of the INNOCENTA community.
Through the INNOCENTA platform, CENTA-ISIM creates a bridge in the field of innovation and technological transfer between the economic sector and the research-development-innovation sector, which provides relevant information and concrete solutions to the problems faced by the economic sector in the field of "components for automobiles and textiles, leather and footwear' and more.
INNOCENTA also provides information on industrial property rights legislation, scientific events, funding opportunities in the field and partnership opportunities.
The INNOCENTA platform is a result of the project "Diversification of CENTA-ISIM's innovation and technological transfer services", implemented by the National Institute for Research and Development in Welding and Materials Testing - ISIM Timișoara in the period 20.10.2021 - 31.12.2023 (financed through the Regional Operational Program POR 2014-2020) with the general objective of providing integrated innovation and technology transfer services by CENTA-ISIM to companies in the automotive and textile, leather and footwear component sectors in the West Development Region with the aim of improving competitiveness and value their additions to the market.
The specific objectives of the project were: 1: the creation of a single point of information and support in the field of innovation and technology transfer for enterprises in the automotive and textile, leather and footwear component sectors in the West Development Region; and 2: intensifying the presence and relevance of CENTA-ISIM's activity in the field of innovation and technological transfer at the international level by participating in specific activities in the field.
