In this post, I am going to show you how to install INROAD on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install INROAD using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "INROAD" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

INROAD application is regarding to develop web & mobile app and dashboard to capture data on plantations and nurseries from beneficiaries through Surveyors.
The Expansion of plantations in the year 2022 shall require regular monitoring of nurseries for supply of healthy rubber saplings and plantation activities undertaken by the beneficiaries as per standard practices.
The monitoring activities at nursery and plantation sites shall require regular data collection at each site based on the identified parameters.

Application Scope:
• Develop an easy-to-use mobile app for the field team for data entry of details about rubber plantations and nurseries. The mobile app should be operable on a tab.
• The mobile app is on android platform compatible with lower end smart phones
• Mobile app to be operational online as well as offline. The data is automatically sync whenever in network area
• Mobile app to be based on data parameters provided by EY as provided in Annexure 1
• Develop a dashboard to present key data parameters and downloadable reports for the data collected on plantation and nursery
• Dashboard to project data from individual level to State level and nursery level to State level along with the total aggregate figures
• There is option to upload bulk data in excel format from PC/ laptop
• There is option to download data dump from the website
• There should access authorization_3
• The app is secure with otp based login or higher level of security
• Data uploaded cannot be changed without the authorization of EY
• Automated data quality checks to be done by the web portal so that the data enumerator can be informed asap to revisit/ recollect the data.
