MemoMix - Memory, Attention and Orthographic Processing, is a recommended game for the enhancement of memory and attention. He is different from the others, because each of the words of the pair is written in letters, colors, designs and different sizes. Many of them also have an unusual separation.

Besides, all pairs of words have another pair of words written equally, to be a distracting factor, called here distracting.

Another unique feature of Memomix is ​​that words are randomly presented in any position in space because the proficient reader has to be able to read the words horizontally, upside down, upright and even mirrored.

Words can be selected from four semantic fields: animals, food, clothing, professions or mix (the four mixed), so it also stimulates vocabulary.

Attention: In the Lite version, only the "animals" option is available.


It is indicated from 7 years. It can be used in Aphasia, Reading and Writing Disorders, Dyslexia, Automation of Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Language Specific Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It can also be used in double-spaced schools in the classroom and even for family entertainment.

- How to use
According to the level of the participants, one can select the semantic field, the number of letters, the time of exposition of the letters and the type of words.

Attention: In the Lite version, only the 24 card option is available.

The types of words to be presented in order of difficulty are:

• Words - the words of the selected semantic field will be presented without their distracting peers, so that the participants become accustomed to the dynamics of the game and the reading of words in the various positions in space.
• Distrators - the words of the selected semantic field will be presented with their distracting peers.
• Random - the words of the selected field will be displayed with their distracting pairs and some pairs containing words written in a mirrored way.

Attention: In the Lite version, only the "words" category is available.


With younger students or less proficient readers, it is advisable to start with a smaller number of cards of the same semantic field, non-distracting or mirrored words, and the maximum exposure time of the words. Increasing the difficulty gradually.

It is also suggested that participants be encouraged to read words that are inverted or sloping, without turning their heads to search for an easier focus, ideally if you read any word with your head straight for a greater stimulation of visual and spelling processing.
