According to tradition, the raffle would be created in 1734 by a discussion between King Charles of Bourbon and Father Gregorio Maria Rocco about the lottery, that the first wanted under public control, so that following his removal there was the flourishing the underground lot, and the second considered unethical for religious reasons. The compromise was found by banning the game during the holiday season, during which families organized themselves with this home version, which soon became a custom of those days of the year.
