INFORMATION FOR THE TEACHER
For children, a jigsaw puzzle is a challenge because they need to order and fit all the pieces to make a picture. Through this search for solutions and alternatives, it is clear the development of important skills in several aspects: cognitive, motor, visual, social and others. An adventure that brings fun and development!

Objectives for the student:
- Develop motor skills;
- Develop logical reasoning;
- Analyze figures and expand the notions of composition and decomposition from the fragmentation of an image;
- Develop discrimination and visual perception;
- Knowing what they are wild animals;
- Know some wildlife species and their main characteristics;

Objectives for the teacher:
- Working logical reasoning, observation, critical and reflective analysis;
- Focus discrimination and visual perception, by analyzing the pieces and their positions in the puzzle;
- Enable the development of the various skills of thought such as observation, comparison, analysis and the ability to synthesize;
- Complementing the study of wild animals;

Suggested approach:
- Divide the class into pairs and propose them to play, making a relay during the assembly of the puzzle. While a colleague mounts the image, the other is the record. Then swap function.
- Dual receive copies of pictures of animals which appear in the game: Oz, tortoise, alligator, toucan, armadillo, monkey and spider, to build concept maps (image of the animal in the center of the sheet and on your back, arrows to direct the information ).
When you mount the image of the animal, a text appears on the species, with information and trivia. The student must enroll in the leaf, the information, using your words.
- In the classroom, further study of these species, developing a roadmap to the children: "What do we know about them?". Children should develop questions about what does not appear in the texts of the game.
