This has been one of the long-standing problems I’ve faced throughout my life, one that I’ve carried for decades.

There have been moments where I was profoundly moved by a book, a film, or a piece of art, and I felt like it was something I’d cherish forever. But as the months—or even just a few weeks—passed, it would slip entirely from my memory. Every time this happened, I would be filled with guilt, regret, and a sense of failure. I would go through the same mental routine: "Why is my memory so bad?" This cycle of self-blame became a deeply ingrained habit.

I tried all sorts of methods to solve this: using notebooks, diaries, and even recording apps. I read books about forgetting and how to retain memories, all in hopes of finding a solution. But no matter what I tried, nothing seemed to work. In reality, the human brain is not designed to remember everything perfectly forever. It is built to retain the information that is necessary for the moment, discarding what it deems irrelevant in order to function efficiently.

After much trial and error, I finally arrived at a simple answer: "Record the information externally."

That’s when I realized the need for an app like "WordBox." This app was born out of a desire to solve these memory problems, specifically by focusing on recording and storing "words." It serves as a personal database for everything important you wish to remember.
