Trials of Olympus is a mobile app that is the first of its kind. It is a Greek Mythology themed HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Workout App that is based off random 52 card deck training. The reason this concept is so interesting is you never know which workout is next and it keeps you on your toes. Each workout is determined by the suit of the card, and whether the card is a numbered card or a face card. Your reps are set based on which difficulty you are on, regardless of the number on the card you draw. The app has 3 levels, with 3 difficulties within each level (9 difficulties total) which you have to unlock as you make progress. In order to move to the next difficulty you must finish all 52 cards. The app allocates you 1 minute to perform the reps for the workout based on the card pulled. You can choose to skip to the next workout at 30 seconds, or use the remainder of the minute to rest and prepare for the next workout. You are also given 2 Joker cards to use as an extra minute break that you can use any time in the app if the workout is becoming too intense. You also have the option to quit your workout at any time if it is too hard to complete, but keep pushing yourself to do better, and next time get closer to performing all 52 cards and unlock all difficulties up to the hardest workout within the app. This will be a challenge regardless of your fitness level. There is an Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality experience built into the Tutorial Mode to help get you on the right path. Bring your trainer into your livingroom! (AR experience will not work on devices without gyro sensor)
